IMG_7310 croppedCiaran Buckley is a teacher, writer and storyteller. He is the the co-author – with Chris Ward – of Strong Farmer, The Memoirs of Joe Ward, which was published by Liberties Press. He was shortlisted for the 2023 Disquiet Prize for Fiction and also for the 2022 Books Ireland anthology. His work has been published in The Letter Review, Fictionette and accepted by Litro Magazine.

He studied creative writing at Yale University, where he was a recipient of the Wallace Non-Fiction Prize. He is a professional member of the Irish Writers Centre.
